<cosponsortitle>SS Peter and John Co-Sponsoring Workcamp</cosponsortitle>
<cosponsortext>
The Episcopal Church of SS. Peter and John in Auburn NY is again
co-sponsoring a workcamp in conjunction with Group Workcamps Foundations
as we did in 2006. This will commemorate the 10th year of our participation
with workcamp and a wonderful way to celebrate by inviting you to our community
once more to help our home town and allow us serve as your hosts.

<offertitle>Finger Lakes Has Much To Offer</offertitle>
<offertext>
If you have already registered with Group, we have put up a few links
to prepare you for your visit. The Finger Lakes has much to offer for your
Wednesday afternoon off, there are 10 lakes within an hour’s drive for swimming,
boating, or just taking pictures. There are waterfalls, hiking trails, shopping
malls and outlets, museums, and national parks nearby. Many historic places of
interest are nearby … Auburn was the birthplace and home of Harriet Tubman,
who operated the underground railroad and freed many slaves. William Seward,
Abraham Lincoln’s Secretary of State (who was also attacked on the night of
Lincoln’s assassination), was the Governor of NY, and purchased the State of Alaska,
lived in Auburn and his home is open for viewing. Our own church, SS Peter and John,
is the oldest (205 years) and most historic church in the city of Auburn. Nearby,
Moravia is the home of Vice President Millard Fillmore. Seneca Falls is the site of
the National Women’s Hall of Fame, the museum that celebrates women’s rights, the right
to vote, and the home where Susan B. Anthony lived.
